The unit known as Nano-Intel 1 ( or "NIL") represents one of the few orders BotCo received and delivered before its express bankruptcy. Each of the ASA's Hardware Class ships was to have its own Nano-Intel Unit, designed as a general work-bot under the direction of the ship's central computer.

Due to Botco's rapid dissolution, it is unlikely that another NI unit will ever be assembled.
