A brilliant young helmsman named Kelton White was the only survivor from the crew of the Excellence 4, sister ship of the Prosperity 8. On her maiden voyage the E4 lost control and plummeted through a plasmic acetone cloud, melting the rest of the crew and forever changing the chemical composition of Mr. White.

The deadly cloud turned Kelton's complexion ghostly pale and removed most of his painted features. His plastic is now very brittle and as such Mr. White is unable to return to earth's crushing gravity.

While his official rank is 2nd in Command of P8, after the accident Kelton became known by the rankless moniker "Mr. White", a suspension of protocol that just made sense to everyone.
