If
you've ever seen Jason's website, We Are Small,
and found yourself still there six hours later, you already know
the man is a toy genius.
If you're unfamiliar with
his work, "The New Bingo" is an excellent piece with
which to get acquainted. It's a science fiction comic about a
new guy (Glenn Russell, former TV Pit Fighter) and his first
days at the G7 Gecko Moonbase. The story is good, but the pictures
are simply amazing. After reading the comic, I went back and
looked at the pictures for a few hours. There are 40 pages
of pictures, folks, and all but two of them feature Mego and
Mego-like toys.
I don't know Jason's plan
for distributing this comic, but I'm sure it will be available
soon. When it is, get it. I highly recommend it.
