The Articulated Space Administration (ASA) established the first security outpost on Gecko, third moon of the centrally located gas giant Vegas 19, to service a growing Smallonaut population spending more and more time in deep space. Teams eventually constructed a network of 14 largely underground, styro-steel compounds, called Bunkered Astro-Safe Environments (BASE). BASE locations are scattered across the moon's Bright Side. The Administrative Bunker and Headquarters of this network is Gecko 7 BASE (pictured, below).
