The Universal Parcel and Passenger Service maintains an excellent record and a rigorous trans-galactic schedule thanks in part to the efficient work of the Helping Autobot Porter, or HAP. It is important to note that HAP is an independent auto-bot employed by UPPS and is not limited to the functional servitude of a standard interface 'bot.

Designed by Prof. Algernon Haley using the latest robot technologies, HAP is Pilot Jeff Thomerson's right claw, and they together make up the crew of the UPPS flagship. In addition to cargo and passenger security, HAP serves as ticket agent, copilot and in-flight mechanic aboard the Century Peregrine.
